Even though we're not a "globo gym", the bench press is still vital to every Crossfit athlete. Having a well defined chest is key in Crossfit. We take our shirts off before we even warm-up, if not we proudly rip it off mid wod because our bulging pecs are too much to handle wrapped up in our sweaty tight shirts. We bench to earn that right....and then there is the advantage of it helping us develop upper body strength for our press, push-ups, burpees, and dips...but who care about that, we just want to look good naked right?!
