CrossFit is a core strength & conditioning program that delivers a fitness that is by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Elements of track & field, gymnastics, olympic weightlifting, and strongman are combined in short intense daily workouts to maximize results for ANY individual. CrossFit teaches functional movement patterns, or, movements that you find in everyday real life -pushing, pulling, squatting, jumping, throwing, carrying, and sprinting.
At Hunters Creek CrossFit you will not find stationary equipment or weight machines. Instead, YOU ARE THE MACHINES! You will find an open space to run, jump, squat, and lift, filled with pull-up bars, kettlebells, barbells, and dumbbells. CrossFit’s goals are to improve everyone in each of ten general physical skills: cardiovascular endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, agility, balance, coordination, and accuracy.
